The Leipzig Dispute (1519)

On april 8th 2008 a lecture within a sequence of Sawyer seminars was held by Professor Erika Rummel (Emmanuel College, University of Toronto) at the University of California (UCLA) about the subject: “Luther and the Leipzig Disputation: Dissent Disseminated”. In 9 video clips (each 15 minutes) one can witness a highly interesting minute-to-minute report of contents, players, proceeding and facts of the Dispute in which the content of Petrus Mosellanus’ opening address plays an important part.
